Background: The “Mosaic” Pinot Noir is a testament to the unrivalled terroir diversity of the two vineyards of Domaine Alexandre. At the heart of this wine is the Alexana Estate vineyard, which has twice been named in Wine Spectator magazine’s TOP 100 list.In 2019, Dr. Revana planted Kinney Ranch Vineyard. This plot was once a horse farm and is almost adjacent to the Alexana Estate, sharing the same unique terroir. Together, the two vineyards offer a rich and varied palette of flavors, with regenerative farming practices and meticulous hand-picking ensuring the characteristics of each plot are preserved, allowing their unique personalities to fully develop before being brought together into the final Pinot Noir “mosaic.”
Tasting Notes：Layers of ripe red cherries, raspberries and strawberries, with subtle floral notes of roses and violets, intertwined with cinnamon and cedarwood from the oak. The taste is silky and delicate, with lively acidity and fine tannins well balanced. Truffle and earthy notes add complexity, while gentle minerality lingers in the background. The finish is long and beautiful, with a harmonious blend of fruit, spice and fine oak.
