Background: Valpolicella is the most famous red wine producing area in Veneto. The red wine here is mainly based on Italy's native variety Corvina, and also adds local varieties such as Corvinone, Molinara, and Rondinella. Various styles of wine are produced here, from the fruity and aromatic Valpolicella DOC, known as Italy's Beaujolais Nouveau, to the wine made from dried grapes, with rich berry and spice aromas, full body and high alcohol content. Amarone della Valpolicella are the unique style wines of this production area.
Tasting Notes:Deep ruby color, with rich fruity aromas of red and black berries such as red cherries, black cherries, cranberries and raspberries, as well as fresh and pleasant floral notes. Full-bodied wine, suitable for pairing with medium-aged cheese, barbecue and other dishes.
