Background: The grapes come from the Dakins Road vineyard. The vineyard is located next to the Ruamahanga River, the most important river in the Wallalapa production area. A large amount of sunlight reflection and the river water regulate the temperature, coupled with the well-drained soil, promote the ripening of the grapes, which can be complex and multi-layered. flavor. Hand harvested, fermented in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels, aged in old oak barrels and stirred monthly. Use a light pressing cycle like the Champagne method to maintain the transparency of the wine and control to minimize the extraction of phenolics from the thick skins, adding rich flavor to the wine, but still maintaining a sense of purity.


Tasting Notes:Rich and complex aroma of apricot, peach, almond, brioche, etc., with subtle hints of ginger and spice. The taste is plump and full, with candied fruit and citrus acidity balancing the entire taste, and a long finish with a beautiful nutty aroma.
