Background:The Côtes de Bourg, an AOC on the right bank of Bordeaux, is primarily composed of clay and limestone soils, but its composition is so rich that the surrounding area of Pugnac presents a complex terrain of interspersed gravel. Château Colombin's vineyards are located in Pugnac, where the soil is predominantly limestone. The winery is committed to organic farming and biodynamic methods, and all its wines are vegetarian-friendly, upholding an innovative spirit and respect for nature.
Tasting Notes:The aromas are of white fruits such as pear and yellow apple, accompanied by subtle dried floral notes and a hint of saffron. The palate is dry and clean, with soft tannins and a long finish. It pairs well with spiced chickpeas, aged cheese, and roasted mushrooms.
