Chateau de la Gardine

The Brunel family's saga in Châteauneuf-du-Pape began in the mid-20th century. Since 1670, they have been engaged in viticulture in the Rhône Valley, transforming this once-dormant old estate into one of the region's finest. Four generations have lived, worked, and thrived in Gardinburgh, cultivating vineyards and crafting wines that truly reflect the terroir and vintage. Today, eight family members, representing three generations, proudly present Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lassault, and Lilac wines, as well as other select wines from the South and North Rhône Valley.

Family values guide all decisions, including a deep sense of unity and independence, centuries of experience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation, while always respecting the terroir to showcase its purest and most authentic character, as well as the noble qualities of the raw materials and vintage: this is a challenge that every member of the Brunel family sets for themselves each year, maintaining the utmost reverence for their surrounding natural environment.
