Eddie McDougall
Flying Winemakers, led by Eddie McDougall, is a wine brand. Unconstrained by geographic boundaries, they create their own unique style across diverse wine regions. They explore the potential of each region, constantly striving to create distinctive wines alongside classics.
Eddie McDougall was born in Hong Kong. His father is Australian, and his mother is Chinese. His upbringing was influenced by both Chinese and Western cultures, fostering a willingness to explore and embrace the potential of all things. After earning a diploma in winemaking from the University of Melbourne, Eddie dedicated himself to his career as a wine professional. Len Evans Tutorial, founded by Len Evans, the godfather of Australian wine, offers scholarships and master-level tasting courses to only 12 wine industry professionals each year. In 2013, Eddie was fortunate to be one of those 12.

Eddie, embracing the spirit of a "flying winemaker," has collaborated with renowned wineries around the world, including Vietti, Mas de Daumas Gassac, and Taiwan's Weishidong.
His innovative winemaking techniques also made him the first person to establish an urban winery in Hong Kong. In 2014, he hosted his own show, "The Flying Winemaker," on TLC Asia. He also serves on the Decanter World Wine Awards judging panel.
