ODDBIRD

Moa Gürbüzer is a former family terapeut and social worker with over 2 decades of experience. She worked mainly with alcohol related family cases and the detrimental effects of alcohol to our society. She was astonished by how recurrent so many of the issues were and realized there need to be a structural changed.

 

She quit her job and started Oddbird in 2013. Her vision was to question and change the alcohol norms of society by creating world class wines but liberating them from alcohol. Today Oddbird is the largest producer of wines liberated from alcohol in Scandinavia.

The grape varieties used in our wines are chosen with a purpose: to ensure a distinct taste. But all grapes are not created equal, which is why we take care to select the best grapes from the best vineyards from the best regions. And they make sure all grapes are picked at the right level of maturity.

Oddbird wines are completely liberated from alcohol using a unique, patented method that preserves the wine’s flavors and aromas – just as nature intended.

In august 2020 Oddbird opened a restaurant in Häringe nature reserve. The restaurant had 6 unique tables in different settings in almost complete isolation. The food was served by the chefs behind Garba and the interior designed by The Norrmans.
