Friuli-Venezia Giulia is Italy’s most famous boutique liquor producing area with output only 2% of Italy’s total.
However, it has a diverse range of wine grapes and exquisite wines, making their popularity equal to Piedmont and Tuscany. Tunella Winery is located at the core of Friuli-Colli Orientali del Friuli.
Three generations, the history of a brewing family.
The winery started in the 1960s, after decades of environmental reforms and the introduction of new varieties, it is currently run by brothers Massimo and Marco Zorzettig and their mother Gabriella.
They not only insist on promoting the local unique native varieties to the world, but also incorporate familiar international varieties into their wines, and strive to make the winery more comprehensive and diversified development, so that drinkers not only understand the original characteristics of Italy, but also further integrated into the local terroir through familiar grapes. Each outstanding wine has become the most representative business card of the Fruili production area.
